EduXam Scan is designed to process exam data locally on your device. This policy explains what data may be handled when using the website, trial installer, and desktop application.

2. Data Processed in the Desktop App

Student answer sheets, names, IDs, grades, and exports are processed on your computer. By default, this data is not uploaded to EduXam Scan servers.

3. Website Data

The website does not require user accounts. Basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser, and request timestamps) may be generated by hosting providers for security and service reliability.

4. Third-Party Services

Download links and embedded videos may route through third-party services (for example Dropbox and YouTube). Their own privacy policies apply when you interact with those services.

5. Data Retention and Security

Since exam data is stored locally, retention is controlled by your school or organization. You are responsible for local backups, access controls, and endpoint protection on the machines running EduXam Scan.
